This Corrugated Steel Bridge Deck Formwork is cold roll formed from ASTM A653 hot dip galvanized steel coil. It serves as permanent formwork for concrete bridge decks remaining in place after concrete curing to act as positive reinforcement and a composite structural element. Designed for highway bridges viaducts and pedestrian overpasses it eliminates the need for timber formwork removal significantly accelerating bridge construction while reducing labor costs and on site waste.

Key Advantages

No Formwork Stripping Concrete is cast directly over the steel deck. After curing the steel remains as part of the deck no removal no disposal cost.

High Load Capacity The corrugated profile provides excellent stiffness to weight ratio supporting wet concrete and construction traffic without sagging.

Superior Corrosion Protection Hot dip galvanized coating of G90 Z275 or higher ensures long term durability in bridge environments including de icing salt exposure.

Fast and Simple Installation Lightweight panels are placed by crane or manually lapped quickly and fixed with welding pins or self drilling screws.

Full Traceability Each coil is supplied with an EN 10204 Type 3.1 mill certificate including chemical composition and mechanical properties.

Compliance Manufactured to ASTM A653 and can meet AASHTO AREMA or Eurocode requirements upon request.
