The height of the handrail of indoor stairs, measured from the center line of the step to the upper skin of the handrail, should not be less than 900mm. When the horizontal armrest is longer than 500mm, its height should not be less than 1000mm.
The height of the outdoor stair railing should not be less than 1050 mm, and the height of the middle and high-rise residential buildings should not be less than 1100 mm.
When the width of the stairwell is greater than 200 mm, it is not suitable to choose a lattice that is easy for children to climb.
The clearance between the vertical railings of the railing should not be greater than 1100 mm.
