Manufacturing Control

All steel components are prefabricated inside factory. Raw steel materials pass incoming inspection before cutting, assembling and welding. Certified welders carry out welding operations in accordance with AWS D1.5M. Non-destructive testing (UT, MT) is arranged on key weld seams to eliminate internal defects. Dimensional inspection will be performed after assembly to guarantee all tolerances comply with AASHTO specification limits.

Surface Protection
Surface anti-corrosion treatment is critical to extend service life of box girder steel bridge. Two common technical routes are optional. Hot-dip galvanizing offers reliable long-term protection for inland and moderate marine environment. Multi-component anti-corrosion paint system can be selected for projects with customized color and thickness demands. Packaging & Shipping

All box girder segments will be cleaned before packing. Protective cushions are placed on contact areas to avoid scratch during transportation. Lifting lugs are pre-installed for safe loading and unloading. Components are fixed tightly on transport frames to prevent shifting during ocean or land transit. We adopt segmented shipment by bulk carrier or flat rack container based on component dimension. Loading plan can be optimized to improve container utilization upon request.
