Our ASTM-Grade Steel Truss is engineered for heavy industrial buildings and logistics centers. Manufactured from ASTM A572 Grade 50 high-strength steel and designed to AISC 360, this truss delivers exceptional load capacity, structural efficiency, and full compliance with American standards.

The triangular lattice configuration transfers loads through axial forces, enabling wide column-free spans (15–60+ metres) that maximise usable floor space for production lines, racking systems, and material handling.

Material – ASTM A572 Grade 50

ASTM A572 Grade 50 is a high-strength low-alloy steel offering:

• Yield Strength: 345 MPa (50 ksi) minimum
• Tensile Strength: 450 MPa (65 ksi) minimum
• Elastic Modulus: 200,000 MPa
• Excellent weldability and fracture resistance
This grade is the preferred choice for industrial steel structures in North America and internationally, delivering greater structural efficiency and lower steel consumption than ASTM A36.

Engineering & Customisation
Our in-house team designs each truss using Tekla Structures and STAAD Pro to AISC 360. We consider:

• Column spacing, roof slope, crane loads
• Snow, wind, and seismic loads (AISC 341 available)
• Future expansion needs
Available configurations: Warren, Pratt, Howe, or custom lattice. We deliver full shop drawings, erection plans, and connection details – all members tagged for easy assembly.

Fabrication & Quality Assurance

Fabrication occurs in our ISO 9001-certified facility with CNC cutting and drilling. Welding by AWS D1.1 certified welders using approved WPS. Rigorous QC includes:

• Dimensional verification
• Visual weld inspection
• NDT (UT/MT) on critical joints
• Coating thickness checks
Surface treatment: Abrasive blast to Sa2.5 followed by zinc-rich primer (75μm) and optional topcoat, or hot-dip galvanizing per ASTM A123 (≥85μm).

Packaging & Shipping

Components are individually stencilled with erection tags matching drawings. Packed in heavy-duty steel-framed crates with edge protection, shrink-wrapped with VCI paper. Complete packing list, lifting plan, erection sequence, and quality certificates included. Flat-rack/open-top containers for standard spans; break-bulk for extra-long members.
